Manfred Ernst. Manfred Ernst was a founding member of Fieldstone Private Capital Group, an energy and infrastructure boutique investment bank, in August 1990 and is currently the Executive Chairman of the Board of the Fieldstone group of companies. Mr. Ernst has extensive experience in the origination and execution of energy and non-energy project finance transactions, both domestically and internationally. Since joining Fieldstone, he has worked on transactions that in total have exceeded $10 billion in value.

Prior to joining Fieldstone, Mr. Ernst was employed for nine years by Bankers Trust Company in the corporate finance department and as relationship manager for multinational corporations in the World Corporate Department. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. in International Relations from Tulane University, and was Assistant Professor at the College of William and Mary and Georgetown University prior to joining Bankers Trust in 1981.
